The 2026 Managers meeting for Lady Janes Haircuts For Men kicked off with a Wicked Awesome Wish for Makai. Adrienne is a single mom of 3, all of whom have life-altering disabilities. The youngest and most affected, Makai, is 7 and suffers from Down Syndrome, Autism and cysts on his Brain. He frequently has to travel to Cincinnati for treatment and the family does not have a car. Wicked Awesome Wishes Skates to Fight ALS
On January 17th members from our Wicked Awesome Wishes team met at the Mt. Clemens Ice Arena to support Kathy's Kids and raise money for the ongoing fight against ALS. Over 2000 people attended the charity hockey match where Kathy's Kids All Stars played the Detroit Red Wings Alumni, with all proceeds going to ALS research. Wishes with St. Brown at Durfee Middle School
On Tuesday January 6th, members of our Wicked Awesome Wishes team traveled to Durfee Middle School in Detroit, where a big surprise was planned for the 6th and 7th grade classes. We were able to watch as 152 students from these classes filed into the gym thinking that the only thing planned was a small pep rally. Smiles, Laughs, and a Rink Full of Memories
Lady Jane’s in Grand Blanc, in partnership with Wicked Awesome Wishes, recently teamed up with the A Kid Again Foundation to host a special day for children living with life-altering diseases and their families. Together, we attended a Flint Firebirds hockey game, giving these amazing kids the opportunity to enjoy a fun and memorable day filled with excitement and community. Wishes come true at the Potter Park Zoo!
On Wednesday December 10th the Wicked Awesome Wishes team recruited Buddy the Elf to help make magic happen at the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing, MI. On a cold night full of snow and ice, our team was able to bring a warm spirit to help the A Kid Again organization during the annual gift giving experience for young kids with life threatening disabilities. Icon of Hope
Wicked Awesome Wishes assisted with financial support to the 2025 Icon of Hope Gala. Icon of Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Children's Hospital of Michigan. Together the mission is to advance the research and care provided to pediatric patients through philanthropy. The partnership with Icon of Hope strives to bring hope and healing to children and their families, making a lasting impact on the community.


A Night to Remember: Strike for Literacy with the St. Brown Foundation
On November 3rd, Wicked Awesome Wishes partnered with the St. Brown Foundation for its Inaugural Strike for Literacy event at Five Iron Golf in Detroit. A Special Night for a Special Family
In November, we had the honor of celebrating the Cunningham family. They recently experienced a heartbreaking loss when their husband and father, Peter, passed away after a long illness at just 49 years old. He leaves behind his wife Chelsea and their five wonderful children. With Peter being the family’s sole provider, the year has brought both emotional pain and financial stress.
