The Launch of the Wicked Awesome Wishes Foundation
To launch its new foundation, Wicked Awesome Wishes, Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men is hosting a world record event on August 23rd to break the world record for the most haircuts in 12 hours by a group of 10 stylists and the individual record for most haircuts by an individual stylist in 12 hours. The event will run from 8 am – 8 pm at Lady Jane’s (former) headquarters in Troy (3921 Rochester Rd).
The current Guinness World Record for most haircuts in 12 hours by a group of 10 stylists is 392. To be guaranteed a spot in this world record event, please call Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men’s headquarters (248-689-0997) to book your appointment and time slot. Lady Jane’s will be booking a limited amount of haircut appointments per hour to break the world record. All haircuts will be free and 100-percent of proceeds and donations will go directly to Wicked Awesome Wishes.
The Wicked Awesome Wishes Foundation will allow children, families and organizations to request money or grants from Lady Jane’s for specific needs. Whether granting a wish to a child that wants to attend a Detroit Lions game or helping pay a medical bill, owner and founder of Lady Jane’s, Chad Johnson, wants to be there to help.
At the end of the year, Johnson and his board will be able to review the needs of anyone that has reached out to them and help accordingly.
“Launching this foundation is a dream come true for all of us at Lady Jane’s and we couldn’t think of a better way to kick it off than to break a world record,” Johnson said. “There isn’t a greater feeling in the world than being able to give back to our local community, and this foundation will allow us to do that on a personal level. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone out at this world record event and granting as many Wicked Awesome Wishes as possible.”
The Wicked Awesome Wishes Foundation is committed to supporting community programs built for the betterment of mankind. This includes programs that address the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wishes of children and families in need. The Foundation constantly seeks financial and in-kind support from both individuals and corporations who are also interested in supporting programs relating to education, the arts, children’s health, sports camps and disaster relief.
