HAIRCUTS FOR HEROES

Wicked Awesome Wishes & Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men set out to accomplish a unique event where we would give out free haircuts to all police, military, firefighters, first responders & veterans in the Las Vegas area. We had numerous attendees and offered a unique way to give back to the community. Before departing for this adventure, we reached out to people in the community to find a wish to grant in conjunction with our event and the LVMPD Foundation directed us to the Newberry family.

The LVMPD lost a brother at the end of 2019. Sergeant Dan Newberry served his community and country for over 25 years, having joined the LVMPD in 1995, before losing his long-fought battle with cancer. He was a well-loved husband, a father and friend to many. We are grateful we were able to grant a wish for the Newberry family to receive financial assistance in this difficult time.
