Wicked Awesome Walk for Miracles!

Saturday June 8th, Wicked Awesome Wishes teamed up with an excited Lady Jane's crew to walk the zoo and raise money benefitting pediatric programs at Corewell Health.  With the event being Superhero themed, we were greeted upon arrival by some of history's greatest characters.

Continuing down the path, our team received our very own capes and medals as volunteers at the event, everyone was able to be a superhero today!  Quickly making friends, we were able to play some games and dance at the pavilion to classic Disney hits with the kids attending the event. 

Posing for pictures along the way, the Wicked Awesome Wishes team explored the Detroit Zoo and interacted with thousands of excited kids with life changing conditions, who were happy to not only see the animals but their favorite characters as well.  Our financial and volunteer support allowed this great event to have a positive impact on these amazing kids and their supportive families.
