Wicked Awesome Wishes Rides for Team Continue!

Saturday July 20th, members from Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men joined over 175 riders for the annual Team Continue 58-er Bike Ride in Washington Township.  The ride promotes suicide awareness and is hosted every year with the goal of raising money to provide financial support for outpatient treatment and care based on referrals from local mental health professionals. This provides a lifeline for individuals and families in crisis, victims of crime, persons with mental illness, people trying to cope with critical situations and runaway and homeless youths.

The connection was first made when Team Continue organizer, Rob Price, made his way into the Lady Jane's location on 26 mile and Van Dyke road.  Through his conversation with his stylist, Allie Reaser, they shared stories about the charities that they both were involved in.  Rob with Team Continue and Allie with Wicked Awesome Wishes, and it wasn't long before they bonded over both sadly having son's that lost their battle to mental health issues, having taken their own lives.  Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's feel blessed to have made this connection and look forward to being involved in this great cause for years to come!
